The 4th Annual Charity Golf Classic Dear Friends and Colleagues: We would like to thank-you for participating in 4th Annual Lindsay Rachel Giacomelli Memorial Fund Golf Tournament, to be held on June 6, 2008 at the Elbow Springs Golf Club in Calgary (www.elbowsprings.com).This letter is to confirm your registration and to provide some description of the event schedule. Registration commences at 9:00 am, which will provide our guests sufficient time to use the driving range. (Please note that road traffic along Glenmore Trail and Highway 8 is slow moving in the early morning, plan accordingly). The courses that will be played are Mountain and Springs. The format is a best ball / cross over, which means that we will all be golfing 9 holes on both Mountain and Springs. Sixteen groups will be teeing off at Mountain, and sixteen groups will be teeing off at Springs. The first group on each course will tee-off at 10:00 am, with each subsequent group teeing off every eight minutes thereafter. The last 2 groups are teeing-off approximately at 12:00 pm. It will take approximately 5 hours to complete 18 holes. The dinner, silent auction, and awards presentation will start between 5:30 to 6:00 pm, and the evening will wrap up around 7:30 – 8:00pm. Please check and confirm your name is indicated on one of the attached lists. There are two (2) lists; one for the “Mountain 9” and one for the “Springs 9”. For those people which registered a team with “TBA” names, please forward names and e-mail contact information as soon as possible, and inform your team mates of the details. For any golfers that require rental clubs, Elbow Springs will supply this as part of the tournament; please notify in advance if you will require rentals to ensure adequate supply. Any participants who are only attending the dinner and auction, but not golfing, you will find your names on the attached list as well. We have 26 quality items for the silent auction. This year we will have all items on auction at the same time. Thank you for participating in this event and more importantly, for remembering Lindsay. Sincerely,
