The Tom Fielding Golf School uses state of the art equipment for assessing your golf swing and based on Tom's abundant experience and wealth of knowledge will fully support you with a golf improvement lesson program to suit your individual needs.
These programs are designed for students of any skill, from those starting the game to the tour pro, who wishes to focus on a single learning goal. These programs are designed to develop the skills of a player at a much accelerated rate. 1. Basic course 1A Adult / junior beginners (An introduction to golf). This type of player has very little or no experience with the game of golf.
2. Basic course 1B - Course proficiency – Debut (no handicap) The course aims to develop the student’s fundamental ball striking skills, terminology as well as preparing them for the basic on-course tactics such as rules, etiquette and how to score.
3. Review program – Designed for those players with experience but have been out of the game for an extended period of time. This course aims to review the swing fundamentals and make corrections where required in preparation for a triumphant return.
4. Intermediate course - This course is designed for improved on-course performance, for handicaps levels “C & B”who desire to upgrade their skills to the standard required to advance to A grade level 5. Junior Program - A Golfers Guide is a fully qualified AAA member of the Australian PGA and is very experienced in teaching children and young adults. New Golfers / Beginners Course 1A & B outline:
The Beginner Golf Package is designed for new golfers to the game of golf who desire the knowledge and skills necessary to obtain the fundamental proficiencies for on-course play. (This course covers Swing mechanics, playing strategies, golf rules and etiquette).

Review of Putting and Intro to Chipping for correct Impact (short irons).
Review chipping and Introduction to Pitching (short irons).
Review Pitching, Introduction to ¾ to full Swing, for successful arrival into impact Plus ways on how to practice (short to mid irons).
Bunker Play for Correct Arm and Body function.
Putting & chipping in more detail.
Full swing mid irons.
Full swing cont. long irons and woods).

Intermediate / Review Golf Program outline.
For those golfers who have experience, but want to step up and refine their skills.

Correction of fundamental errors, concentrating on the In-swing principle of Setup to takeaway, Corrections faults for a better delivery of the club into impact. Focusing on short iron clubs and short swings.
Swing faults and fixes focusing on the transition from takeaway to up swing, focusing on the direction of the swing plane and the related body position to support it. Corrections faults and fixes concentrating on short to mid iron clubs, focusing on half swings.
Swing faults and fixes concentrating on the transition form top of swing to start of downswing and through to finish, focusing on body angles, direction of weight transference and the swing radius Corrections faults and fixes focusing on mid to long irons。
Principles of short game play and how much it influences your overall score.
Swing faults and fixes for an improved impact position, concentrating on the overall mechanics of the full swing to a well balanced finish. Focusing on body angles, direction of weight transference and the swing radius. Correction of faults focusing on fairway woods and drive for better control and improved course strategy. Video review for before and after comparisons.
Recovery shots, how to apply intentional ball flights for the various conditions that golfers meet on the golf course. Focusing on high, low, hook & slice ball flights. Concepts on course play strategy based on the player’s strengths Vs the weaknesses of the Golf course. (All clubs)
Pre-shot routine for more consistent play, & effective ways on how to monitor your practice and round analysis results to promote progressive improvement.
